Naming
A consistent naming convention for social media pages (e.g. facebook.com/bmmigroup, youtube.com/bmmigroup, twitter.com/bmmigroup) reinforces the connection between them. Not only that but it also fosters a sense of trust with the user. Rather than questioning whether the accounts are all part of the same organisation, keeping your handle the same removes any doubt.
In certain circumstances, this can be difficult. Twitter, for example, limits handles to just 15 characters. You may not be intending to use Twitter but it is better to work to this limitation from the beginning rather than attempting to change all of your handles at a later date.
All social platforms have terms and conditions regarding appropriate usernames. Some are more restrictive than others but it is well worth ensuring you have a clear understanding of these to make sure your page isn't shut down at a later date. Yes...it can happen and all social platforms reserve the right to do so!
